FINANCIAL

Account in the Council is responsible for all financial matters of the Council. It covers all the proceeds, expenses, payments, budgeting and accounting.

There are three main sections to the Finance Tenom District Council are:

    Assistant Accountant as Head unit

  • Manage matters of Finance Department
  • Manage matters , including the General Administration Department of Finance.
  • Ensure that all procurements of the LPO , Contracts and General Fee comply with financial procedures and instructions of the Treasury .
  • Monitoring payment of claims document received at the counter until the preparation of checks.
  • Keep records of such payment documents , statements of support , approval of the minutes of turnover , records of dependents , check control contract work , check the list of local orders and multiple bills .
  • Update the accounting records and prepare Monthly Financial Report , Quarterly and Annual Financial Statements .
  • Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register , Cash Book , Trial Weigh ledger card and documents related for audit reference.
  • Dealing with the Audit Annual Financial Statements and Audit Reports.


    Treasurer


  • Make a payment
  • Monitoring payment of claims document received at the counter until the preparation of checks.
  • Ensure that wages will be paid on time the 25th of each month , except on certain feast days.
  • Handles matters and the preparation of Council staff salaries , including income , tax deductions , loans and etc, also keep the records for future reference .


    Counter


  • Receive payments from tenants
  • Managing the release of the bills each month Rental Property Council.
  • Taking action to collect the arrears of rent and service revenue.
  • Providing rental property Register , Statement of Account Individual Property rental revenue of the Council.
