Sabah State Railway
Department of State Railway (SSR) is a department in the State of Sabah, Malaysia, which operates the
railway network in the state. It is the only rail transport system operating on the island of Borneo.
The railroad is over 134 km from Tanjung Aru, near Kota Kinabalu, to the town of Tenom, in the Interior
Division. Previously, it was known as North Borneo Railway Service.

Tenom district can be reached by road via the Kimanis Road - Show and Tambunan - Keningau or Bamban
