What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication or RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0) is an application of XML (Extensible Markup Language) according to the level of specification of the World Wide Consortium (W3C). It is a format for syndicating news and is used as an agent for any news or data online from web pages that support this application.

Why RSS is necessary?

Technological developments in online publishing not only greatly simplifies the task of disseminating the latest information through the web, users can locate the latest information of your favorite websites without having to remember the URL of the page or checking your email to get the latest info. RSS specially designed for web development to get the latest information from the District Council Pengkalan Hulu (DPH). Through this application, it is hoped that DPH can deliver info or Update / Current of NADPH portal more quickly and effectively. Through this RSS feed:

  • The user can choose to read the news you want and relevant to your requirements.
  • User indirectly obtain information that is reliable and prevention of unwanted information (the spam).
  • Saves time.
  • Users can find the Latest Information on the DPH more quickly and effectively.
